This Privacy Policy explains how the Mahalaxmi Traders mobile application ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our B2B ordering service. By creating an account and using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information that you provide directly when you register and use the App:

• Account & contact information: your name, phone number, and (optionally) email address.
• Business information: your business name and delivery address (including city, state, and PIN code).
• Authentication credentials: a password used to secure your account. Passwords are managed by Firebase Authentication and are never stored by us in readable form.
• Order information: the products you browse, add to your cart, and order, including order history.

We do not collect your precise location, access your photo library or camera, or send marketing push notifications through the App.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your business account and verify your identity at sign-in.
• To process, fulfil, and deliver the orders you place.
• To contact you about your account or orders when necessary.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the App.

3. How Your Information Is Stored

Account and order data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore), operated by Google LLC. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Your use of Firebase services is also subject to Google's Privacy and Security policies.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only:

• With our infrastructure provider (Google Firebase) to store and process data on our behalf.
• When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and order information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and comply with our legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Contact below).

6. Your Rights

• You may review and update your profile information from within the App.
• You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is a business-to-business tool intended for use by businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
